Becoming a HEALS Academy Fellow

It is anticipated that the Fellowship applications will become available in Fall 2026. More information will be added below as it becomes available.

  • The HEALS Academy Fellow member level recognizes Rutgers Health educators who have a track record as educators and are demonstrating the potential for major and on-going contributions to education within Rutgers Health or the profession. The purpose of the Fellow membership level is to:
    • Recognize commitment and service to the academy and excellence in education within Rutgers Health
    • Recognize early and mid-career educators who have a leadership role within an educational program, and/or who have developed courses, curricula and innovative educational materials and methods
    • Identify future and emerging education leaders within Rutgers Heath and its partners
    • Promote interprofessional activities, collaboration, and innovation
    • Increase the numbers of Academy members
    • Recognize those who are working toward furthering the goals of the academy

    Fellows will receive recognition at the annual Rutgers Health HEALS Academy Innovation and Educator Day and a letter recognizing the honor that can be submitted for promotion and tenure review, as well as letter sent directly to their supervisor and/or chair.
